DANA series knives are made of premium stainless steel. High-quality steel X50CrMoV15, due to its high carbon content and special heat treatment, has very high hardness (56-58 HRC), and the addition of molybdenum and vanadium significantly increases its corrosion and wear resistance.
They have a wedge-shaped blade profile. The combination of characteristics of this blade profile is ideally balanced: the strength of the blade is combined with an easy, high-quality cut. It is also distinguished by ease of sharpening and high strength of the cutting edge.
Correct blade thickness. The thickness of the blade at the butt is 2.3 mm for large knives and 1.8 mm for small knives, which ensures their high strength, good balance, convenience and safety of working with them.
One-piece forged construction. The knives are made from a solid steel billet by hot forging, which ensures improved metal structure, good balancing of the knife and a long service life.
The knife handle is made of waterproof wood-polymer composite pakkawood. An environmentally friendly material based on natural wood with high aesthetic properties, but at the same time having higher strength and moisture resistance.
